The 2012 Workshop of Information Literacy, e-Learning, and Social Media will be held in Hualien, Taiwan, December 12-14, 2012. The main focus of the workshop will be on the novel proposal of tech-niques for information literacy, e-Learning, and social network. This workshop will become a forum for re-searchers to summarize the most recent developments in the field, with a special emphasis given to the improvements and results. The proceedings of ICS 2012 will be published by Springer in series of Lecture Notes in Computer Science (indexed by DBLP, EI, and Thomson ISI). The topics to be covered include, but are not limited to:

  • Information Literacy and Related Issues
  • Intelligent Tutoring System
  • Adaptive Learning
  • Computer-supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL)
  • Learning Sciences
  • Advanced Learning Technology
  • Ubiquitous, and Mobile Technologies Enhanced Learning (UMTEL)
  • Digital Game and Digital Toy Enhanced Learn-ing (DGTEL)
  • Technology Enhanced Language Learning (TELL)
  • Technology, Pedagogy and Education
  • Emerging Technologies and Applications for So-cial Media
  • Pedagogical and Usability Issues for Social Me-dia

Before submission, authors should carefully read over the submission guidelines, located at All papers must be submitted in an electronic format which conforms to the workshop proceedings style described at the web site.
Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the conference manuscript submission system at according to the following timetable:
