the Chinese Information Literacy Association (CILA).
1. Type of membership, based on Chapter 2, Section 6
of the By-laws.
Membership Criteria:
(1) Personal Member: Age 21 or older who agrees to the objectives
of CILA.
(2) Institutional Member: Any public/private organization or group
that agrees to the objectives of CILA.
(3) Sponsor Member: Anyone or group that would like to sponsor
any aspect of CILA activities.
(4) Honorary Member: Any individual or group that has contributed
to CILA.
(5) Prepared Member: Anyone who is 20 or younger and agrees to
the objectives of CILA.
Membership Procedures:
Complete the Membership Application Form or Group Membership Application
Form. When the Executive Committee accepts your application, you
are expected to comply with the By-laws of CILA and pay the membership
dues, both entry fee and annual fee.
2. Application Rules
(1) Please complete and send the Membership Application Form
or Group Membership Application Form to CILA office.
(2) Payment of membership fees is based on Chapter 5, Section
30 of the By-laws

3. Rights and duties of CILA member, based on Chapter 2, Section
9 of the By-laws.
It is the duty of each member, in order to remain in good standing
in CILA, to comply with the By-laws of CILA and pay the membership
fees, if any, when due.
4. Notes
(1) The Executive Committee will check all applications for membership
in CILA. If your application is rejected, CILA will return your
submitted membership fees.
(2) Membership automatically expires when missing two consecutive
membership payments.
